A 28-year-old man was arrested in Pune, Maharashtra for faking his own abduction to extort money from his father. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that some Congress leaders pressured individuals to donate funds to the Young Indian and Associated Journals Limited (AJL) on instructions from senior party functionaries.
