The Calcutta High Court has granted conditional permission to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to hold a rally in West Bengal's Purba Bardhaman district on February 16, despite objections from the state government. Eight Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Saturday.
