The clash began when Indian farmers accused Bangladeshi farmers of stealing crops, which quickly escalated into a verbal argument and then a physical confrontation with both sides throwing stones at each other. The BGB has also taken steps to manage the situation on their side of the border. The situation on the border is now under control.
