A 13-year-old boy died and 28 other students were hospitalized after suspected food poisoning at an unauthorized hostel in Mandya, Karnataka, India. The incident occurred after students consumed leftover food from a Holi celebration. A 25-year-old man in Jharkhand's Khunti district allegedly strangled his live-in partner to death and chopped her body into 40 to 50 pieces in a forested area.
