A 35-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh allegedly killed a 32-year-old man who had been blackmailing and raping her, police said on Sunday. The Supreme Court of India has dismissed a plea filed by the legal heir of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa seeking the return of properties confiscated in a corruption case against her.
