A designated MP/MLA court on Monday forwarded a case of defamation brought against Union Home Minister Amit Shah by Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee to the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Kolkata over jurisdiction issues.
The Congress said BJP MPs had sticks in their hands and Kharge was threatened and pushed.
The meeting went on for over 20 minutes at Shah's residence. The meeting was earlier scheduled at the home ministry.

Eight Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Saturday.
