The Shiv Sena-Uddhav Bal Thackeray and Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi on Monday announced an alliance, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Shiv Sena founder late Bal Thackeray.
'Those who are contesting against Amit, I can expose them all. But I don't want to get into that dirt.'
Discordant voices emerged on Sunday from the Mahayuti even as the alliance continued to remain in the throes of government formation more than week after it swept the Maharashtra assembly polls.
Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Patole asserted there are no disagreements within the MVA, adding that discussions on seat-sharing were underway and would conclude soon.

He recalled that Indira Gandhi faced a similar situation in the aftermath of the Emergency.
Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Asim Azmi's remarks praising Mughal emperor Aurangzeb sparked outrage in the Maharashtra legislature, leading to calls for his suspension and accusations of treason. The ex-CM said he had the honesty to face the protesters. He said the government should hold a dialogue with locals before coming up with any project.
The government has moved to increase the strength of the joint committee of Parliament that will scrutinise the two bills proposing simultaneous elections from 31 MPs to 39, giving representation to more parties.
The Thackerays sought dismissal of the PIL on the ground that it was filed on assumptions and without any factual foundation.

The verdict will be delivered by a five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud.

The Maharashtra Assembly elections saw a fierce contest between two coalitions and six major players. Despite securing over one lakh votes, 58 candidates lost the election.
