The Bombay high court on Thursday said it would hear on October 26 the bail plea filed by Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in connection with a case of seizure of banned drugs on board a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
A court in Mumbai on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to Union minister Narayan Rane and his MLA son Nitesh Rane in a case of allegedly making defamatory and misleading statements about Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
A total of 201 persons were arrested in the infamous case, of which 57 have been granted bail.
The court rejected Chakraborty's bail application. The NCB told the court that she was an 'active member' of a drugs syndicate and procured drugs for Rajput, her boyfriend.
In a letter addressed to Nupur Sharma, heading the CBI's special team, Chakraborty said her neighbour Dimple Thawani had falsely claimed that Rajput had dropped her (Chakraborty) to her house in suburban Mumbai in his car on June 13, a day before he was found hanging at his residence in Bandra.

Former Board of Control for Cricket in India chief Jagmohan Dalmiya was arrested on Wednesday on charges of misappropriation of over Rs 2.90 crore of the cricket body's funds, but immediately released on bail of Rs 25,000. Dalmiya was granted bail as per the provisions of a high court order, which granted him anticipatory bail over two years ago, his lawyer Satish Maneshinde said.
The issue was raised in the in Maharashtra Assembly after Question Hour by Devendra Phadanvis, who referred to Maneshinde's reported remarks on the actor, convicted under the Arms Act, in the sting operation.
Actor Sanjay Dutt was released from Pune's Yeravada jail on Thursday morning. Dutt's lawyer Satish Maneshinde visited Yeravada jail at around 8.30 am with the relevant papers and delivered them to the jail authorities. He was accompanied by Dutt's former secretary Pankaj Kharbanda. The actor was released at approximately 9.50 am and he is likely to take a chartered flight back to Mumbai. In the plea filed in a sessions court on Wednesday, Rhea also claimed that she has not committed any crime whatsoever and has been falsely implicated in the case.
The Union minister was arrested on Tuesday afternoon from Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district following his remarks made during his 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' in Raigad on Monday that he would have slapped Chief Minister Thackeray for what he claimed as the latter's ignorance of the year of India's independence.
The duo was arrested last month by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with its drugs probe related to the case of Rajput's death.
The Bombay HC refused to quash the FIR lodged against late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Priyanka Singh for allegedly forging and fabricating a medical prescription for her brother, but set aside the police document against a second sister.
Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande had opposed their bail saying Rhea and Showik financed and arranged drugs.
Rhea, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday after three days of questioning, is currently in judicial custody.
Their counsel Satish Maneshinde told the HC that the drugs case, in which Rhea and Showik are accused and currently in jail, should have been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), probing Rajput's death, by the NCB.
This is her second attempt to seek release after a magistrate court on Tuesday refused to grant her bail. In the fresh plea, filed by her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, the 28-year-old actress claimed to be 'innocent'.
The actress, who is the complainant in the case against Rajput's sisters Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh, filed an affidavit in the HC on Tuesday opposing their plea and said the allegations against them are serious.
The NCB further said both Rhea Chakraborty and her brother had "abetted and financed" drug transactions.
The remarks were made by a bench of Justices S S Shinde and M S Karnik while reserving its verdict on a petition filed by Rajput's sisters - Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh- seeking to quash an FIR for alleged forgery and fabrication of a medical prescription for their brother.
The Bombay High Court on Friday said Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, shall be released on a personal bond of Rs one lakh with one or two sureties of the same amount.
"There is no evidence of consumption, no recovery of drugs and absolutely no evidence to show his participation in this so-called conspiracy and abetment as alleged by the NCB," Rohatgi said while arguing for Aryan Khan's bail.
Rhea was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 9. The NCB has accused her of procuring drugs for Rajput.
'When she left on June 8 after some kind of fight or break-up she did not think Sushant would die.' 'She did not think his family after his death would level such horrible accusations against her.' 'She did not think three agencies would be tasked to prove her to a bad woman.'
The Centre informed the court that it has accepted the Bihar government's recommendation for a CBI probe in the matter.
Rhea wants a stay on the Bihar police probe.
