How Net savvy are you? How would you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10?
I'd give myself a four or five. I surf only when I need it. I look for information on cars -- to check out a new model of the Porsche or the BMW that someone has been talking about. I check mail and also chat on MSN once in a while with my family in Delhi or my wife's family. I carry a laptop around either to watch my DVDs when I travel or to listen to my downloaded music collection. I have downloaded a few games like cricket etc, but have yet to find the time to play them. I don't spend more than an hour or so at a stretch -- it makes me restless.

How often do you surf?
I surf if and when I have to look for information. Or when I get home and my wife is online. I don't have the time to surf much. Connecting is very painful. Usually my wife connects to the site I want to check while I shower and then finally sit before the PC. Also, I have an Ipass connection from VSNL, which lets me check mail from anywhere in the world, so I can keep in touch when I'm shooting abroad. But I'm more of an SMS and phone person!

Your favourite Web sites:
My favourite bookmarks are all to do with fast cars -- Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari. All their official sites are indexed and book marked. I don't surf aimlessly unless I have an hour or two to kill. Like recently, while traveling with Uday (Chopra), we surfed for car accessories and checked out pictures and the lot.

Have you ever been ego-surfing?
Priyanka, my wife, ego surfs for me. She enjoys reading information about me online and checking out reviews of my films. She even promised to show me the stuff -- Web pages, message boards and comments etc. But I've been too tired to make the time.

What do you hate or like most about the Internet?
I like the easy access to information anywhere anytime. I also like the way it connects me to the rest of the world. My fans for instance. When Mohabbatein released, the Yashraj site mail account was full. They would forward fan mail addressed to us. My mailbox had 1300 mails and I replied to each one of them in a day because I knew I wanted to connect with my fans. It was tough to write to each one personally, but I was happy that I did it.

I don't trust the Net much... I use it to get information. Buying things online or chatting away all day wouldn't be something I'd do. At least, not with the time I have. It works for some people... not for me.

Whom would you like to chat with online?
Give me the phone any day... I would prefer to call Madonna than chat with her, for instance. Besides, how would I know she is Madonna anyway!

If the Internet didn't exist...
My life would still carry on as usual. I would still use my laptop to watch my DVD's, listen to music and even find information from other sources. I would miss email and the ease of the Internet though.
