An Italian couple adopted a 12-year-old orphan schoolgirl from Ramgarh district in Jharkhand after completing all official formalities.
The couple allegedly wanted a child to carry on the family dynasty.

Stuck in Gurugram due to nation-wide lockdown, a tenacious Jyoti Kumari asked her father to sit on the rear side carrier of her cycle and took him to his native place, covering 1200km in seven days.
'There were times when my courage and confidence would fail and I was close to giving up,' says Jyoti Kumari who wanted to bring her father home safely. So she began the cycle ride of her life.
Kumari, a lion-hearted 15-year-old, cycled all the way from Gurugram in Haryana to Bihar's Darbhanga district with her incapacitated father Mohan Paswan seated on the carrier. Now the father-daughter duo is at a quarantine centre near their village Sirhulli under Singhwara block of the district.
