Mumbai court extends Meiyappan's police remand till May 31

A Mumbai court on Wednesday extended the police custody of Chennai Super Kings team owner Gurunath Meiyappan till May 31 after it was told by the city crime branch that it wants to confront him and actor Vindoo Randhawa, arrested in the Indian Premier League betting scandal, with a Chennai hotelier, also suspected of involvement in the case.
