A Delhi University teacher was allegedly slapped and assaulted by members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday, according to faculty members. The Delhi University Teachers' Association (DUTA) has demanded an inquiry into the matter.
ABVP won all six posts -- president, vice-president, general secretary, joint secretary, cultural secretary and sports secretary -- in the elections held on September 19, a press release said.
