3 arrested for Hindu businessman's murder in Bangladesh

Khokon Chandra Das, 50, was assaulted near Keurbhanga Bazar in Damudya in Shariatpur district, about 100 kilometres south of Dhaka, on Wednesday night. He died on Saturday. Prothom Alo newspaper said a team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the three accused on Sunday morning from Kishoreganj, about 100 kilometres northeast of Dhaka.

Relatives of a Rabbi, who was gunned down along with his pregnant wife during the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, have filed a wrongful death suit against Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence and Lashkar-e-Tayiba at a Brooklyn court. Rabbi Gavriel Noah Holtzberg and his wife Rivka, who were originally from Brooklyn, were killed when the attackers took over the Chabad Lubavitch centre at Nariman House in November 2008. They were slaughtered in front of their two-year-old son.
