Richardson, who was in the country along with his colleagues to investigate corruption charges against Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), was staying on the ninth floor of the hotel in Colombo, one of the six locations where bombs went off in a series of blasts, killing and injuring hundreds of people across the country.

The iconic Mughal Gardens of the Rashtrapati Bhavan will open for the public from Tuesday after President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurates it. The gardens will remain open to public from February 6 to March 9 between 9:30 am and 4.00 pm. However, it will be closed on Mondays for maintenance and on March 2, on account of Holi, said Press Secretary to the President Ashok Malik. President Kovind will inaugurate the annual gardening festival 'Udyanotsav' of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday.

The size of the accessories market ranges from Rs 1,500 crore to Rs 3,000 crore and has been growing at 15 to 18 per cent, according to Anand Ramanathan, manager, business performance services, KPMG. Within this, he said, the branded accessories segment is growing 25 per cent, against a growth rate of 35 to 36 per cent for apparel. Margins, however, are 10 to 15 per cent higher on accessories than apparel.
