With his second draw in the tournament besides two victories and as many losses, Anand took his tally to three points out of a possible five and remained in sole third spot as the other games of the fifth round also ended in draws.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani visited the hospital this morning to enquire about the condition of the 92-year-old ailing leader. Surjeet, who was admitted on May 6 to the hospital with cardiac respiratory arrest, slipped into a coma on May 16.
