Among the key demands of agitating farmers has been a legal guarantee on minimum support price (MSP). Nineteen people were killed and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a tractor and a truck in Gujarat's Panchmahal district, police said on Friday. The incident occurred late on Thursday night near Veganpur village of Godhra taluka when a tractor, carrying devotees, was hit by a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction, said Police Inspector Godhra J H Pandya. Nineteen people travelling in the tractor were killed on the spot and 20 others were injured.
