Bhanwari Devi case: CBI grills Maderna's wife, Malkhan's sons

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday grilled former Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna's wife Leela and two sons of Member of Legislative Assembly Malkhan Singh in connection with the Bhanwari Devi abduction case. They are all being quizzed at the circuit house in Jaipur, CBI sources said. Osian MLA Maderna is under judicial custody, while Luni MLA Singh has skipped questioning for the past several days despite repeated summons.

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday quizzed the wife of Congress legislator Malkhan Singh in connection with the alleged abduction of nurse Bhanwari Devi even as it continued the questioning of sacked Rajasthan Minister Mahipal Maderna, arrested last week in the case. Malkhan's wife Kamala Visnoi was asked to appear for questioning at the circuit house in Jodhpur before the CBI sleuths, sources said. Maderna was arrested on Friday in Jodhpur by the CBI.
