Flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi remained affected due to dense fog on Wednesday, disrupting the schedules of over 50 domestic and international flights. "Fog started enveloping the airport from 10 pm on Tuesday night and runway visibility dropped to 50 metres, due to which 21 domestic and international flights were diverted, while 15 others were cancelled," an airport official said.

The Himachal Pradesh government has no plans of banning expelled Bharatiya Janata Party leader Jaswant Singh's controversial book on Pakistan founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said. "Thousands of books hit the stands everyday. ... Why should the state government bother about those," he told reporters. Of the six BJP ruled states, including Himachal Pradesh, only Gujarat has banned the book so far.
