China has built 3 air bases, 5 heliports at LAC after Doklam: Report

China has started the construction of at least 13 entirely new military positions including three air bases, five permanent air defence positions and five heliports near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the aftermath of the Doklam standoff in 2017, according to a report by global security consultancy Stratfor.

The Students Islamic Movement of India has changed its name. The new name for the outfit is SIM -- Students Islamic Movement -- according to Abu Basher, the alleged mastermind of the Ahmedabad and Bengaluru blasts. Basher told the Hyderabad police who interrogated him at Gujarat that it was a conscious decision to refer to the organisation as SIM. "We do not want to have any boundaries and hence by adding India, the organisation would seem restricted," he said.
