The Indian Consulate at Toronto reportedly received a bomb threat on January 30. Though no official confirmation was available, a police official, who didn't want to be named, revealed that the Indian Consulate had received a threatening telephone call on January 30. "We are investigating this incident. Even if it is just a crank call, we have to probe the matter," he told rediff.com.However, Consul-General Preeti Saran dismissed the threat as 'some crank call'.
