Atal Bihari Vajpayee greets Rathore

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has congratulated Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, saying his dedication, commitment and "quest for perfection" resulted in the first ever individual Olympic silver medal in Indian sports history.

 "The nation is proud of you", he said in a congratulatory message to Rathore.

"Please convey my congratulations to all members of your family, who stood with you in your long hours of dedicated practice", Vajpayee said in his letter.
