A businessman was shot at by unidentified assailants outside his residence in Shastri Nagar locality of Bihar's Patna, police said on Wednesday.
The man has been identified as Dilip Kumar, a city-based construction material supplier.
"The incident took place on Tuesday night when Kumar was shot at by the gunmen. Police took the injured to hospital and his condition is stated to be stable," said Saket Kumar, SDPO-2 (Sachiwalay).
A case has been registered and police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused, he said, adding that it was not immediately known why the businessman was shot.
