Fourth peace bus leaves Srinagar

The fourth batch of the Muzaffarabad-bound peace bus carrying 36 passengers left Srinagar [Images] on Thursday guarded by a tight security net on the 120 km route to Kaman post on the Line of Control [Images], officials said.

The Caarvan-e-Aman bus left in the morning with 24 passengers from this side and 12, who were returning to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after spending time with relatives, they said.

There was a heavy deployment of police and paramilitary forces along the route to Uri town near the border.

The bus reached Salamabad Tourist Reception Centre at around 1100 hours, they added.
