There are 12 actresses, who are among Bollywood's busiest, working on multiple films simultaneously.

Just who are they?

Joginder Tuteja tells us.

Alia, of course, should come as no surprise. She's consolidated her place as the numero uno despite the Kalank debacle.

The actresses has five major releases coming up.

Sci-fi drama Brahmastra, opposite real-life beau Ranbir Kapoor, has been pushed to a summer of 2020 release.

She stars in two romances: the remake of dad Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah, opposite Salman Khan.

All eyes will then turn to SS Rajamouli's RRR, co-starring N T Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan.

Not to forget, there's Karan Johar's historical drama, Takht, starring a host of actors like Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

Katrina Kaif
Currently shooting for: Bharat, Sooryavanshi

Katrina's 2018 releases -- Aamir Khan-starrer Thugs Of Hindostan and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero -- were disasters.

But she's still looking pretty opposite Bollywood's top stars this year, with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat (Salman Khan) and Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar).

There are also talks that the script for Tiger 3 -- the third installment after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai -- is being put in place for the Salman-Kat jodi.

The pretty actress is sure to bounce back.

Kangana Ranaut
Currently shooting for: Mental Hai Kya, Panga

Kangana Ranaut delivered one of the year's first hits in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi.

Her next film Mental Hai Kya, with her Queen co-star Rajkummar Rao, has already raked in much controversy.

She also stars in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's Panga, which will release early next year.

While she recently opted out of Anurag Basu's Imali, the actress has reportedly signed on the Jayalalithaa biopic, Thalaivi.

Taapsee Pannu has been wrapping up films at a rapid pace.

After starring in Soorma, Manmarziyaan, Mulk and Dil Junglee last year, she will be seen in a space mission drama, a sports drama and a thriller this year.

Mission Mangal has a strong cast in Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan.

Saand Ki Aankh is a sports biopic on India's oldest sharpshooter sisters, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar.

Ashwin Saravanan's Game Over will be released in three languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

She will also reunite with her Mulk director, Anubhav Sinha, for Thappad.

Sonchiriya, despite brilliant reviews, was a washout but its actor, Bhumi Pednekar, is looking at better times ahead with as many as six major films coming up.

First, there's Saand Ki Aankh with Taapsee.

Then, there is a romcom, Pati Patni Aur Woh, with Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey.

All eyes would also be on the social satire Bala, where she reunites with Ayushmann Khurrana after two hits (Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan). Ayushmann goes bald for this film, which will be helmed by Stree director Amar Kaushik.

Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare is a drama about the dreams and aspirations of women. Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, it co-stars Konkona Sensharma.

It's followed by a horror film with Vicky Kaushal, and then of course, Karan Johar's Takht.

After delivering a blockbuster in Stree, Shraddha will have three releases this year.

The light-hearted Chhichhore will see her time travel with Sushant Singh Rajput.

Action thriller Saaho is hugely awaited, since it is Prabhas' first release after his super-blockbuster, Baahubali.

All eyes are also on the Remo D'Souza-Varun Dhawan dance film, Street Dancer 3D.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Shraddha will star in the sequels of two of her big hits. While Stree 2 will see her reunite with Rajkummar Rao, she will take Baaghi 3 forward with Tiger Shroff.

After scoring back-to-back hits with Luka Chuppi and Bareilly Ki Barfi, Kriti has as many as three films lined up this year.

First up is the romcom Arjun Patiala with Diljit Dosanjh.

It's followed by Housefull 4, a comedy with a reincarnation theme, and a huge starcast that includes Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda.

The year will end with Ashutosh Gowariker's war drama, Panipat, opposite Arjun Kapoor.

Sonakshi is busy with the third installment of Dabangg, the Salman Khan-starrer that started her career and made her a star.

She is also working on Bhuj: The Pride Of India, with Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Parineeti Chopra.

And then, there's the ensemble film, Mission Mangal.

Kriti also has the spotlight firmly focused on her.

She will probably get her first big hit in the multistarrer, Housefull 4.

She joins another ensemble cast in Anees Bazmee's comedy, Pagalpanti.

And then, there's Rumi Jaffrey's thriller Chehre, where she has Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi for company.

After a major success in Veere Di Wedding, Kareena Kapoor Khan returns, quite aptly, with Good News.

The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, and is produced by Karan Johar. It is directed by first-timer Raj Mehta.

Up next, is Angrezi Medium with Irrfan Khan.

Less than a year after her big debut, Sara Ali Khan has dived into work and is currently filming Imtiaz Ali's yet-untitled romantic drama opposite Kartik Aaryan.
