The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday announced Mobile Premier League (MPL) as the official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team.

MPL wasn't part of the process when the original Invitation to Tender (ITT) was floated by the BCCI in August and that has raised a few eyebrows.
The new jersey was unveiled by the BCCI, as well as the official sponsors MPL on their official Instagram profile.

BCCI has inked the apparel and merchandise deal with MPL, replacing Nike.
