A family of four, including a couple and their teenage son, was found dead in their apartment in Mysuru, Karnataka. Police suspect the husband may have poisoned his family members before hanging himself. The deceased have been identified as Chetan (45), his wife Rupali (43), their son Kushal (15), and Chetan's mother Priyamvada (62).
A mob attacked a police station in Mysuru, Karnataka, after a man was arrested for posting provocative religious content on social media. The mob demanded the accused be handed over to them and turned violent when police refused. Police fired tear gas and used batons to disperse the crowd. Three cases have been registered against him after a huge cache of leaked videos purportedly showing several women being sexually abused by Prajwal.
