Harvey Sachdev was 12 when he came to the United States with his family from Punjab. He was a valedictorian both at the Northeastern High School, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. But worsening schizophrenia made it difficult for Harvey.
