However, during the course of the investigation it was revealed that Nasir along with others had planned to blow up several places in Karnataka, Goa and Andhra Pradesh.
The police, after thorough interrogation/investigation, have now come to the conclusion that it was Nasir, who had gone to Lumbini Park when a Laser show was on and placed a black colour bag containing the bomb, and slipped away from the spot a couple of minutes before the bomb (made out of Neogel-90) exploded.

Nasir, also known as Ghouse, revealed that the IISC attacker was around 6-feet-tall and of wheatish complexion. Although he did not reveal the name of the man, he said that three persons had come to Bangalore to carry out the attack.
