The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday sent a legal notice to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, initiating proceedings to seek compensation from the Indian Cricket Board for not honouring the memorandum of understanding (MoU) to play six bilateral series between 2015 and 2023.

He said Shaharyar made the point that if the BCCI had to seek government clearance to play Pakistan in a bilateral series it should not have signed the MOU in the first place.
The BCCI, on the other hand, has been asked to pay 40 per cent of the administrative costs and expenses of the DRC. The judgement did not specify the exact amount that was claimed by the Indian Board.
