The mortal remains of Sunanda Pushkar, who was found dead in mysterious circumstances at a luxury hotel in New Delhi on Friday night, were consigned to flames on Saturday in presence of her family members.
Political leaders and celebrities, including Union Minister Kapil Sibal, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and filmmaker Karan Johar, have condoled the death of Sunanda Pushkar whose body was found at a five-star hotel in New Delhi.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Alok Sharma has asked police to find out the cause of poisoning and also to specifically probe murder or suicide angle.

The police has named Tharoor as the only accused while also alleging that he had subjected his wife to cruelty.
