The Delhi police is looking into the likely involvement of terrorists in Sunday's twin blasts at two cinema halls in the capital.
A senior Delhi police officer, who is heading the investigation into the case, told rediff.com that the media is wrong in its presumption that the blasts were targetted at the film, Jo Bole So Nihal.
'Media judged my film responsible for the blasts'
"It may be true that Jo Bole So Nihal was being screened at the Liberty cinema but Satyam is a multiplex where three other movies besides the controversial film were being screened," the police officer said, speaking on condition of anonymity. "The miscreants were targetting crowded places. The blasts could have occurred at any another place."
While all angles -- including the Punjab militant angle -- are being looked into, he felt, "This is the handiwork of some ISI (Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence) module who, in connivance with some terrorists, carried out the blasts. This is a terrorist act for sure, that much I can tell you."
