M K Narayanan given temporary charge as NSA

M K Narayanan has been given temporary charge as National Security Adviser, in place of J N Dixit, who passed away on January 3.

Narayanan is a former director of the Intelligence Bureau and is an adviser (on domestic security) in the PMO.
