No! That was the curt answer of a German court to a lonely, unemployed husband who claimed to be starved of sex and wanted the government to pay for his visits to brothels and purchase of pornographic material.
The 35 year-old man, citing his 'considerable sexual needs', said his Thai wife lives in Thailand and asked the authorities to compensate him for his lack of sex with her.
He wanted the social welfare office to fund four visits a month to a brothel, including transport, as well as eight pornographic movies and two monthly contact magazines.
"I require the brothel visits for my physical and psychological well-being," the unemployed man said in his application.
But an administrative court in Ansbach, southwest Germany, turned him down on the grounds that any such activities should be paid for out of what he already receives in benefit.
The unidentified man claimed that German officials were keeping him apart from his wife, from whom he has a son, by refusing to pay her airfare from Thailand.
