Ex-EC in 'Who's Who in the World'

Former election commissioner G V G Krishnamurthy figures in an American publication as 'world's most distinguished individuals'.

New Jersey's Who's Who in the World in its edition for 2007 has listed Krishnamurthy's profile documenting the lives of the world's eminent persons for their reference audience, said a release from All India Conference of Intellectuals quoting a communication from the American publishers.

The contributions of Krishnamurthy as EC from 1993-99 in the conduct of elections in Jammu and Kashmir and several other measures seem to have been taken into account for his inclusion in the publication, it said.
