The Kadappa-based lawyer, who was in the news for approaching the Election Commission for registration of a political party bearing the same name as Chiranjeevi's [Images] Praja Rajyam, announced his support to the actor.

"I am a fan of Chiranjeevi. When a great personality like him forms a political party with a noble objective, I don't want to cause any inconvenience to him. I made a representation to the Election Commission withdrawing my application," Chenna Krishnaiah, an advocate, said. He was speaking to reporters at Chiranjeevi's party office.

Replying to a query, Krishnaiah said he voluntarily decided to support the superstar.

Earlier, there were reports that the lawyer was offered inducements to withdraw his application.

However, Chiranjeevi's aides asserted that the allegations were baseless.
