Chiranjeevi's [Images] much-awaited rally at Tirupati, where he will officially announce the name of his political party, is all set to be a magnum opus.

Chiranjeevi's grand entry into politics

The entire programme will be captured on 12 cameras. According to the super star's fans, the entire programme will be recorded and then made into a short film.

Cameraman Chota K Naidu, who has worked with Chiranjeevi is several films, will also be filming the event. He plans to get an aerial view of the entire programme and a special chopper has been arranged for him.

The temple town of Tirupathi has donned a festive look for the occasion, and thousands of fans have started pouring in from all corners of the state.

The fans have been waiting patiently at the venue, where the megastar will address the audience later in the evening. The programme is expected to commence at 4 pm and continue till 7 pm.

SC clears decks for Chiranjeevi's Tirupati rally

As many as 1,450 buses have rolled into Tirupati since today morning, and the organisers have spent a whopping Rs 1.34 crore on arranging for these buses.

Chiranjeevi is expected to reach the venue by a special chopper. As he walks up to the dais, flowers will be showered on the star from the choppers, which will circle the venue.

The temple town is considered to be a very auspicious venue, and is flooded with devotees throughout the year.

Chiranjeevi who has been constantly compared with the charismatic N T Rama Rao, is following in the actor-turned-politician's footsteps. NTR, who floated the Telugu Desam Party after giving up a lucrative career in films, also launched his party from Tirupati.

Sources said that Chiranjeevi might even contest the elections from Tirupati like NTR.
