Ten members of the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam, including a ward secretary, were arrested by the police on Monday in connection with Sunday's attack on the offices of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Hindu Munnani office.

The Mambalam police have arrested Ravi, Vijayakumar, Murugan and Manikandan in connection with the attack on the BJP office in T Nagar.

DMK ward-79 secretary Sai Kumar and ward-81 representative Murugesan were among the six people arrested by the police in connection with the attack on the Munnani office at Chintadripet

Angry DMK supporters had attacked the BJP office on Sunday to protest against the fatwa issued by Ram Vilas Vedanti, a former BJP MP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader against Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, for his remarks about Lord Ram.
