Police sources said Majid, who was arrested recently in the city, confessed to the Special Investigation Team of the city police that his brother Shahid was the person behind the twin blasts that occurred at Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat at busy Koti area of the city.

He said Shahid had recruited Muslim youths for planting bombs in the city.

Both Imran Kaleem and Nayeem alias Sameer, who were arrested in connection with the blasts recently, were trained by the HUJI leader. Shahid had hide-outs in Bangladesh to train the Muslim youth.
