Leader of Opposition Lal Kishnenchand Advani [Images] on Wednesday called on Chinese President Hu Jintao, who is currently on a visit to India.

The BJP leader met the Chinese leader at his hotel and is understood to have discussed various aspects of bilateral relations. The meeting lasted for about 20 minutes.

Earlier, the main opposition party had announced that it would raise its objections in Parliament on the Chinese ambassador's recent remarks about his country's claims on Arunachal Pradesh.

On Monday, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Tipar Gao from Arunachal Pradesh demanded Chinese President Hu Jintao declare the state an integral part of India during his current visit.
