J&K: Another attack on tourists

Twenty domestic tourists were injured in two powerful hand grenade explosions at Dalgate in uptown Srinagar [Images] on Wednesday afternoon.

A senior police officer told rediff.com that militants lobbed two powerful grenades at two passing tourist buses at Dalgate, which exploded resulting in injuries to 20 tourists.

"The injured are being treated in SMHS hospital and the condition of three is critical," said a senior police officer.

This is the third attack on domestic tourists in May.

The Valley is presently thronged by thousands of tourists.
