The Priyanka-Rahul Gandhi Brigade has announced a reward of 100,000 dollars on the heads of those indulging in blasphemous acts.

Talking to newspersons in Hyderabad on Friday, the organisation's office bearers condemned the recent act of drawing of a cartoon on Prophet Mohammed, depiction of the pictures of Hindu gods on women's undergarments in some Western countries and the hurting of sentiments of the Christians by The Da Vinci Code.

They said governments should take stringent action against those who indulge in defiling of religions by ridiculing Gods or other venerated persons.

Demanding that rewards be announced on the heads of those indulging in such acts, as was done in the case of criminals and terrorists, leaders of the organisation said that they were willing to announce such rewards themselves through the All Religion Committee, if the governments did not come forward to do so.

They said they would announce the reward to prevent defiling and ridiculing of gods and highly venerated persons of different religions.
