"There is no going back from the stand taken with Bharatiya Janata Party," said Janata Dal-Secular working president H D Kumaraswamy, who withdrew support to the Congress-led coalition government in the state against the wishes of his father and JD-S national president H D Deve Gowda.

Talking to newsmen in Hubli Monday morning on his way to Hyderabad, Kumaraswamy said he was not aware of his father holding talks with Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi [Images] in New Delhi on January 25.

"Though I am going to Hyderabad, I will not be meeting Sonia or any other Congress leader," he said.

To another question, he said that even if his father held talks with Sonia there would not be any change in his stand on forming the government with the support of BJP.

Kumaraswamy, accompanied by minister Chaluvarayaswamy went to Hyderabad, even as other JD-S legislators supporting him are relaxing in Goa [Images].
