Rebel Janata Dal (Secular) legislators from Karnataka, led by H D Kumaraswamy, arrived in Goa [Images] on Saturday and headed for an undisclosed destination.

Though the exact number of legislators, who had arrived in Goa, was not known, it was learnt that legislators belonging to the JD(S), Janata Dal United and Independents landed at Goa airport, from Bangalore.

Speaking to reporters at the airport, Kumaraswamy ruled out that their visit to Goa was to avoid any horse-trading before the floor test on January 27.

"Our legislators will have to work hard and we have come to Goa to take rest for three days," Kumaraswamy said, ruling out the possibility of joining hands with the Congress in case there was a leadership change in Karnataka.

"We will form the government with BJP in the state and there was no possibility of joining hands with the Congress under any circumstances," he added.
