PM returns after France, UN visit

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] on Saturday night arrived in New Delhi from his seven-day-long tour to France [Images] and the United Nations.

The prime minister attended the 60th UN General Assembly meeting and also met foreign leaders including United States President George Bush [Images] and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images].

The prime minister discussed with Bush the nuclear deal that India signed with the US during his July visit.

He also hosted a dinner for Musharraf, where the two discussed Kashmir.

The prime minister also met Russian President Vladimir Putin [Images] and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice [Images] during the visit.
