Union Minister of State for Home Sri Prakash Jaiswal on Wednesday said Bihar Governor Buta Singh is not being removed from his post. "To my knowledge, there is no such possibility," Jaiswal told a television channel.

He also added that while the observations of the Supreme Court are respected and efforts made to take its view for the future, no government is dismissed based on it. "I want to state that neither are governments dismissed, nor has any Central government resigned based on Supreme Court's observations," he said.
