First Look: Priya Dutt votes
November 19, 2005

By-poll for Mumbai North-West Lok Sabha constituency was held on Saturday.

Film star-turned-politician late Sunil Dutt's daughter Priya Dutt of Congress was pitted against Shiv Sena leader Madhukar Sarpotdar.

Priya Dutt was among the early voters and cast her vote at St Anne School in suburban Bandra around 0830 IST, sources said.

This constituency has one of the most glamorous voting lists in the country, with most film stars residing there.

Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who too resides in the constituency, voted with his family and the Shiv Sena candidate Madhukar Sarpotdar.
