Monica's judicial remand extended till December 19

The Central Bureau of Investigation special court in Hyderabad on Monday extended the judicial remand of Monica Bedi [Images], girlfriend of Abu Salem [Images] till December 19.

Monica was produced before the special court judge C V Subramanyam after the expiry of the remand.

The court also received specimens of the former actress' handwriting and signatures for identification purpose. Six sheets of Monica's handwritten script were given to the court.

Later, Monica's Counsel Mr Batra sought a five-minute audience with his client and the court conceded it.

Monica, who was produced before the judge at 03:00 pm was in the court till 03:30 pm. She was later sent to a room in the court premises for private audience with her attorney.

Earlier on Monday, Monica's bail application was dismissed by the court.
