AP: Four naxals killed in encounter

Four naxals belonging to Janashakti group were killed in an exchange of fire at Ramakrishnapur forest area of Venkatapur mandal of Warangal district on Thursday morning, the police said.

The ultras, moving in the forest area, were spotted by a police party during a combing operation, the police said. On seeing the police, they started firing and in return fire, the four were killed, the police added.

However, their accomplices managed to escape from the spot, the police said adding, seven weapons and eight kit bags were recovered from the spot.
