Prince Charles to travel by Delhi Metro

The Delhi Metro is set to roll out the red carpet for Prince Charles, who will travel in it on Wednesday.

E Sreedharan, architect of the prestigious project, will accompany the royal visitor during his ride from Kashmiri Gate to Welcome Station at Shahdra, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation spokesperson Anuj Dayal said on Tuesday.

Prince Charles will also interact with the British consultants associated with DMRC, Dayal said.

The dignitary will be presented a book depicting the complexities experienced during the initial phases and provided a bird's eye view of the world class technology, he said adding normal traffic will not be disrupted during the VIP visit.
