Maharashtra minister files case against Anna Hazare

Suresh Jain, Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister, on Thursday filed a defamation case in a district court in Jalgaon against anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare for levelling corruption charges against him.
Last month, Hazare had levelled corruption charges against four Nationalist Congress Party ministers, including Jain, who had sent legal notices challenging him to prove the allegations.
Jain is scheduled to file another defamation case against Hazare in Mumbai on June 11.
Making counter-allegations, Jain has claimed he has received numerous complaints of corruption against Hazare and his activists.
